Alpha Epsilon Lambda is an interdisciplinary honor society for graduate students who have at least a 3.85 or higher and 12 graduate hours. This international honorary was established in 1990 by a University of Florida graduate student, John Capece, who provided the concept, structure, and resources for the society. AEL’s purpose is to promote ethics, intellectual achievement, and leadership among graduate students.
Membership in AEL is a competitive national honor, which recognized graduate students who excel in both leadership and scholarly endeavors.
